Discounts Note: this will only work with discount groups, not project discounts

Creating discount groups

In your Rentman application, go to 'Configuration' -> 'Financial' -> 'Discount groups'. You can create as many discount groups as you want.

Assigning equipment to a discount group

Open your equipment details, and on the tab 'Data' scroll down to the box 'Financial'. Here you can select which discount group this equipment belongs to. An equipment item can only belong to one discount group, so plan accordingly.

Assigning discounts to contacts

Open your contact details, and on the tab 'Payment' scroll down to the box 'Discount groups'. Here you can specify how much discount this contact receives per discount group.

Receiving discount on the webshop

The discounts are calculated automatically on the webshop. When a customer is logged in, the products will have the discount price instead of the regular price. There is also a setting to display the regular price next to the discount price.

Note that the customer has to be logged into his account, and the account has to be linked with the corresponding contact in Rentman.
